I had thought that my previous necklace was the one that I'd wear until journey's end but that was before I walked into River Gemz and found the most excellent hand cut and carved opal piece. Everything made here is beautiful and unique. The staff are great for a chat and see if you can catch either of the resident dogs for a good pat. Well worth a visit and look.

The amount of knowledge and the stones each one unique in colour and shape makes it a joy to browse and buy.

I have loved Opals since I was 13 and have seen many across my 61 years.

The pieces on display are breathtakingly sublime each has its own story.

Best thing it is right here in Mannum.

Harri did a brilliant job repairing my precious Lightning Ridge blue opal ring, damaged when I took it to a non specialist jewellers for resizing a couple of years ago. That’s why it’s great to have River Gemz here at Mannum. Harri is a specialist in opals and a lot of his unusual stock are beautiful pieces he has designed and made himself. Drop in. Great for Christmas presents:)
